Arrival of international flights our representative will meet and greet at the airport. You will be transferred to your Hotels, following which an introductory briefing about the tour will be shared by our tour leader. You will be free to explore the nearby markets and the dinner will be served at the Hotel.

In the morning we will depart on our motorcycles and head towards Banbasa, a small village in Uttarakhand bordered with Nepal. Lunch will be served on the way and dinner will be served at the Hotel in Banbasa. All the paperwork to cross the border will be prepared by our staff.

After security clearance, we will enter Nepal through one of the least visited areas by tourists. The western region is known by the name of the Terai, a flat area with very little traffic and abundant lush green farms. We will arrive at the Bardiya Animal Reserve in the afternoon where the lunch will be served. Feel free to explore this incredible natural park. One of the few in the world where you can opt for a ride in jeeps, on elephants or, if you dare, do it on foot with a guide! Rhinos, tigers, bears, crocodiles and wild elephants are some of the main animals that can be seen within the park.

Today we will head early towards Tansen as it’s a long journey. We leave the plains of the Terai to enter the foothills of the Nepalese Himalayas. Tansen is a rarely visited destination and the city has very interesting Newari architecture. We will reach our destination post afternoon and the location of your stay will amaze you. You can see the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan mountains right from your bed!

We will depart for one of the most astounding routes of our trip. You won’t find much traffic and the glimpse of Annapurna mountain peak can be seen at every curve of the road.

The road is surrounded by mountains, and along the way we make a stop to admire the views of Annapurna before arriving at Pokhara. Post lunch we will ride a short distance to reach Mount Sarangkot. The views, this time from the north side, are almost hidden by the dozens of paragliders flying over Pokhara Lake. Later in the afternoon you will reach Dhampus, a small town perched high in the valley in the foothills of the Himalayas with typical rural life like nowhere else. From your rooms you will see a spectacular landscape of the snowy chain of the Himalayas.

We will take an exit from the main road and head towards the town of Kusma. On this route you will experience the most hair-raising adventure while crossing the Kusma Bridge (longest suspension bridge in Nepal; 344 meters) which is 384 feet (117 metres) above the Madi River. You will arrive at your destination by afternoon and you hotel will be perched on top of the city of Beni. Our beers await us in the garden of this hotel!

Our real off-road adventure begins today. This day will be the longest as we will surely have multiple stoppages while crossing the landslides that we may have on the route. Stop for chai (tea) after the permit check in Ghasa. Post which, we will visit head towards Kalopani through a circular route along a path that goes into a thick forest (we will cross two hanging bridges on the way)

The adventure on this route will depend on the level of the river, since we will follow a path next to it that will lead us to small wooden bridges. We will cross the river again through a suspension bridge to go to a small town where we will eat in a small restaurant run by a charming Nepalese couple.

Arrival in Kagbeni, a town with Tibetan glimpse in all its architecture and an old Buddhist monastery. Check in at the hotel and rest of the afternoon is free for us to wander around this town.

Today we will see the most spectacular lunar landscapes of the entire trip. We will arrive in Muktinath (3800m) and refresh ourselves with chai. This will be the highest point of our tour, we will visit temples and head back to Kagbeni by taking an alternate off road route. From there we will hike to reach a spectacular viewpoint where we can see up close the impressive peaks of Nilgiri (7000m). Check in at the hotel and the rest of the afternoon is free to visit the nearby places surrounded by views of the Himalayas, a Buddhist monastery and full of charming streets.

We head back towards Pokhara through the main road and reach Tatopani in the afternoon. You can enjoy bathing in natural hot springs here.

We will depart from Tatopani and head towards Pokhara. The road is completely paved and you can cruise around the mountains on your motorcycle. Post afternoon we will have beers in the garden of our favorite restaurant in front of the Pokhara Lake.

Free day in Pokhara. You can choose to go paragliding from Sarangkot (one of the best places in the world to do it), relax by the lake, do some hiking nearby, or simply roam around the streets of the city.

Last day of our motorcycle ride following the course of the Trishuli River that will take us to the capital of Nepal. We will stop for lunch on the way by the river to say goodbye to the last views of the Himalayas. In the evening we will arrive in Kathmandu and our Hotels will be in the center of Thamel, a lively neighborhood full of cafes and restaurants.

Last day in Kathmandu before the departure of international flights back to home. Our representative will drop you at the international airport (depending on your departure time).

    Why Choose us

Wild Triumph's India & Nepal Motorcycle Tour

On this motorcycle trip you will discover two fascinating countries: India and Nepal. Leaving chaotic Delhi you will arrive like ancient travelers in the 70’s to the mysterious Kathmandu. For this you will have to cross Nepal through the flat and tourist-free region of the Terai. You will continue along the winding mountain roads, forests with views of Annapurna, animal reserves and astounding scenic beauty. Nepal is full of fine Newari architecture that blends with Hindu temples and traditional Buddhist stupas in astonishing harmony. Also on this tour you will have the chance to ride off road as high as 3800 meters in the Mustang region, with lunar landscapes similar to those of the Tibetan plateau.

You will be surprised by the imposing views of the immense Himalayan mountains! Few countries in Asia offer as much nature to the motorcycle traveler as this magical country located between India and Tibet. Its people, very influenced by the Buddhist tradition, are of an astonishing serenity.

Our route will be 70% off road and 30% on asphalt and in general with little traffic outside urban areas.
